STANDARD is proud to announce it has become a Platinum Club member of Canada’s Best Managed Companies program by retaining its ‘Best Managed’ designation for the seventh consecutive year.

“Best Managed companies embrace innovation, seize opportunities and inspire talent. They really set the bar high,” said Peter Brown, Partner, Deloitte and co-leader of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program.

“STANDARD prides itself on its dynamic and winning culture, which is made possible thanks to the people who work at STANDARD and help shape it. We’ve been recognized for the past 7 years as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, a distinction that we, at STANDARD, work hard to maintain and one that we feel is indicative of our capabilities.”

Canada’s Best Managed Companies

Established in 1993, Canada’s Best Managed Companies is one of the country’s leading business awards programs. It rewards privately-owned and managed Canadian companies that demonstrate continual excellence in innovative management and business performance. Despite a fluctuating economy, winners, this year, continued to thrive by leveraging their understanding of today’s market and investing aggressively in technology and talent to inspire growth and maintain their long-term success. Applicants are evaluated by an independent judging panel that examines overall business performance, including leadership, strategy, core competencies, cross-functional collaboration throughout organization, and talent.

“The Best Managed network represents the highest class of Canadian business, and it is truly the backbone of the Canadian economy,” said Mike Runia, Ontario Managing Partner, Deloitte and co-leader of the Canada’s Best Managed Companies program.
