STANDARD supports future members of the industry by awarding a $3,500 scholarship each year to a Canadian university that has demonstrated academic excellence, or to a college student who has completed two years of studies in the field of business administration and commerce, and has maintained a minimum cumulative average of 80%.
In 2017, STANDARD is happy to support the hard work of Mattias Peters, student at the Ryerson University in Toronto.
“I am extremely appreciative to have been chosen to receive the STANDARD recognition of Excellent Scholarship. This scholarship will help enable me to pursue a career in the field of electronics and technology innovation. As student athlete at Ryerson University, the financial assistance that it offers will greatly reduce tuition related pressures, enabling me to pursue a degree in entrepreneurship. Furthermore, I am grateful to be recognized by Electro-Federation Canada and feel a profound sense of motivation to strive towards achieving my goals while giving back to the community.” – Mattias Peters
