STANDARD awards a $3,500 scholarship each year to a Canadian university that has demonstrates academic excellence, or to a college student who has completed two years of studies in the field of business administration and commerce, and has maintained a minimum cumulative average of 80%.
This year, STANDARD is pleased to announce that it recognizes the hard work of Kurtis Beaumontfrom Delta, British Columbia. Kurtis is currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), specializing in Accounting at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University; he hopes to complete his studies by the end of 2017.

EFC Sholarship program
This award is part of the Electro-Federation Canada (EFC) 2016 ScholarshiPprogram. Since its inception in 1994, the EFC Scholarship Pprogram has supported students with over $1 million in funding, and during this year alone, it has awarded over $138,000 through the awarding of 53 scholarships.
