Luminaries above the running track of the Shawinigan Cégep needed to be changed. Cégep administrators put a request to Stanpro, asking the lighting specialist to propose a solution that would brighten that spot.
Existing luminaries equipped with metal halide lamps that used up to 290 watts were replaced with high ceiling LED luminaries (LPHB series) that use as little as 100 watts. This process will allow the Cégep to save up to 65% on its energy bill.
This particular series of L70 LED luminaires is designed to last upwards of 200,000 hours, and require minimal maintenance. In addition, their brightness provides 115° uniform lighting and even distribution throughout the luminary arrangement; this ensures high quality lighting in the entire
space.
School administrators were so pleased with this straightforward solution, the quality of Stanpro’s services as well as the professionalism of its staff that they propose to call on Stanpro for other projects.
